Armthorpe Welfare handed over supplies to the Skellow & Carcroft Covid-19 Foodbank, while Bessacarr FC’s open age Sunday team organised a collection of items for Doncaster Foodbank.

A spokesperson for Armthorpe Welfare said: “After the first lockdown Morrisons supermarket in Armthorpe kindly donated a number of boxes of pasta and long life milk to the football club but due to the various restrictions still in place we have been unable to use much of what was donated to us.

“With Morrisons already excellently supporting foodbanks in our area we decided to pass on what we have left to Skellow & Carcroft Covid-19 Foodbank and hope that this will help the community in these trying times.”
