Doncaster Rovers: '˜We feel like we've found a good position for McCullough' - Ferguson
McCullough became the latest victim of Rovers’ pre-season injury curse at York City on Tuesday night and is now struggling to be fit for the start of the season.
The Northern Ireland international is currently on crutches and Rovers are waiting on the results of a scan.

“He’s a pivotal player for us. He’s just signed his new contract and he’s definitely going to be a big player for us,” said Ferguson.
“I’m delighted [he’s signed it] because he was excellent in stages [last season].
“We’ve feel like we’ve found a good position for him sitting in front of the back four. He protects the centre halves and he reads the game well.

“He’s got confidence now and a real belief that he can play in that position. He gives us a really good physical strength in there.
“It’s probably one that I really didn’t want, an injury to him, because of what he brings to the team. But we’ll just have to get on with it.”
