Clive will move players around

CLIVE Griffiths will shuffle his pack in a bid to kick-start the Knights’ survival charge.

The Knights face the tough trip to play-off chasing Cornish Pirates on Sunday, desperately hoping to cut the five point gap to safety.

After pledging to ‘go back to the drawing board’ after last weekend’s defeat to London Scottish, Griffiths has switched his players around in the hope of finding the winning formula.

Canada international Connor Braid will move from outside half for a first start at centre while Tom Luke will move in the opposite direction.

Usual hooker Will Hafu has been named at openside flanker in place of Jethro Rawling. Hafu impressed after coming off the bench against Scottish and Griffiths his hoping the Tongan will use his energy to link the forwards and backs effectively.

Tom Francis has recovered from a shoulder problem and will retain his starting place.

Knights to face Cornish: Keating, Flockhart, Braid, Simpson, Lewis, Luke, Bedford, Davies, Buckley, Francis, Challinor, Parsons, Kettle, Hafu, Planchant.

Replacements: McGovern, Cronin, Bergmanis, Smith, Pailor, Hallam, Lennard.
