Barry Town 0 Doncaster Belles 1

JODIE Handley scored midway through the first half to give the Belles victory in their delayed AXA FA Women's Cup fifth round clash.

The result sets up a mouthwatering quarter-final at home to holders Arsenal at Brodsworth this Sunday (2pm).

Doncaster dominated from the start on their trip to Wales with Handley firing them in front in the 22nd minute with a low shot from the edge of the box.

The second half was a more dour struggle with Barry pushing forward in the heavy rain and windy conditions.

But the Belles still had the better chances and could have won by a wider margin with Carly Hunt having an excellent game on her debut in midfield.

* Sammi Newton scored a hat trick for Doncaster Belles reserves who booked their place in the AXA FA Women's Premier League Reserve Section Cup Final with a 3-1 home win over Southampton Saints reserves.

Newton, a prolific scorer at Under 16s level, put Belles in front before Katy Morris levelled before half time.

Newton struck twice in the last fifteen minutes to set up a repeat of last season's final which was won by Belles, on penalties, against Arsenal.
