Young man found dead at a home in South Yorkshire

Police were called to a house in Orchard Close, Mexborough, at around 5pm on Saturday.

Upon arrival, they found the body of a 21-year-old man who was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary where he was later pronounced dead.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman in connection with the incident but have since been released without charge.

Detectives have confirmed that they are now not treating the 21-year-old's death as suspicious.

A post-mortem examination has been held and the man’s family is being supported by specialist officers.
