Woman wanted over theft of suitcase from train in Doncaster

A woman is wanted for questioning over the theft of a suitcase from a train in Doncaster.

The case was taken from a train at Doncaster railway station at 6.20pm on Friday, May 20.

PC Alek Marinkovic, of British Transport Police, said: “A woman was seen walking up and down platform three at Doncaster station before boarding a stationary Northern Rail service without any luggage.

"Shortly afterwards she disembarked with a suitcase before going into the toilets and taking the suitcase owner’s money, clothing and house keys.”

Officers have released a CCTV image of a woman they believe could hold vital information.
