Woman taken to hospital after Owston Ferry incident
A woman was taken to hospital after apparently falling and knocking herself unconscious in the early hours of the morning in Owston Ferry.
An ambulance was called to the scene in the village centre at about 1.15am on Sunday, October 26, to reports that an 18-year-old woman was injured.
Residents had initially raised concerns amid allegations someone had been stabbed.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said a ‘serious incident’ had initially been reported to the force but added there was no evidence of a stabbing.
She said the woman was ‘well in drink and shouting’ but added there was ‘no mention of any weapons or stabbing on the police incident log.’
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
