John Magee, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Ben Sherman.
“It’s a brand synonymous with style and we’re sure its arrival will attract shoppers in search of the quality menswear associated with the name.”

From its iconic shirts and polo shirts and knitwear, jackets and coats, the Doncaster store will house a wide range of the brand’s garment lines, at outlet prices. John added: “The Ben Sherman name has played a key part in British men’s fashion. We can’t wait to see the store open and welcome customers.”

The first Ben Sherman shirts were launched by the man himself in 1963; when the first British youth culture was in full flow; post-war teddy boys. The shirts were a huge success, offering something brand new and previously unseen. A second wave of young men came along who loved the sharp Italian style and became known as ‘mods’. This youth culture embraced the Ben Sherman shirt for its quality, slim-fitting style, colour and unique design.
