Barbecue lovers in South Yorkshire could be sizzling the sausages this weekend as the region prepares for a dry and bright Bank Holiday weekend.
Hundreds of people are expected to eat al fresco as the temperature warms up - and although its not forecast to be a blazing Bank Holiday, the forecast for the next few days is reasonable.
Sunny periods will develop as cloud breaks form on Saturday.
It will feel pleasantly warm inland for the afternoon period, although light easterly winds will keep coasts cooler. An isolated afternoon shower is possible.
There will be some sunshine inland on Sunday, but cooler and cloudier on coasts with freshening northeast winds and mist. There will be strong northerly winds on Monday with rain by afternoon. Turning showery on Tuesday.
So as long as you avoid Monday, you should be able to enjoy your burgers and beers and soak up the sun at the same time.
