To coincide with Yorkshire Day, Wentbridge House Hotel is hosting a ‘Yorkshire Day Festival’ showcasing all that’s great about our county whilst raising money for local charities.
Throughout the day top chefs will be showcasing menus featuring the finest produce from around the region, including Tim Bilton, who featured in BBC2’s Great British Menu and Masterchef finalist Tom Rennolds.
The day will also feature floral demonstrations from celebrity florist Carl Wilde as well as a mobile animal farm, wine tasting, a Punch and Judy Show, live music, vintage cars, bird of prey displays and much more.
The fun begins at 12 noon on Wednesday 1st August and entry to the event is free, including ample free parking. As well as lots to see and do, there’ll also be plenty to eat, including two or three course Yorkshire lunch and three course Yorkshire dinner served in the hotel Brasserie, afternoon tea (advance booking required), Hog Roast from Greedy Little Pig, Yorvale Ice Cream, Strawberries and Stamfrey Farm Clotted Cream, Yorkshire Tea and Taylors of Harrogate Coffee and the Black Sheep Brewery.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
Speaking of the event Wentbridge House Hotel Director James Page said:
