Snow is on its way according to the latest forecast from The Met Office.
Going into this evening it will be cold and mainly cloudy with occasional outbreaks of sleet and snow, mainly in the east with settling snow most likely in Pennine areas where significant further accumulations are likely.
Icy stretches will form in places. Minimum temperature -4C.
Tomorrow it will be cold again, with icy patches. Flurries of sleet and snow are likely to become increasingly light and short lived, leaving much of the afternoon dry, perhaps with bright spells.
