South Yorkshire is set for severe gales, sleet and snow over the next 48 hours, according to the Met Office.
Today will be a mainly dry day with sunny spells, and just a chance of an odd shower.
It will feel chilly with strong, gusty westerly winds and temperatures reaching a high of 9C.
Overnight, cloud will increase with outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain and some sleet for a time, with strong gusty winds developing
Tomorrow, heavy rain at first will turn to snow and wintry showers on higher ground.
A weather warning has been issued for severe gales.
