One Night of Queen returns to Sheffield City Hall once again to provide a celebratory evening of one of the greatest bands of all time, taking place on Sunday 12 June 2011.

In 2000, Gary Mullen won ITV’s “Stars In Their Eyes” Live Grand Final, with the largest number of votes ever received in the shows history. The record of 864,838 votes was more than twice that of the runner-up. Gary began touring on his own, and in 2002, formed a band, The Works, to pay tribute to the rock legends that are Queen.

Since May 2002 Gary Mullen and The Works have performed in the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand to sell-out audiences. They have also twice rocked the prestigious BBC Proms in the Park, in front of a very enthusiastic crowd of 40,000.

Gary Mullen and The Works perform One Night of Queen, a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time.

Guest performer, Soprano Ruth Kerr will also join Gary for a special performance of the 1987 hit Barcelona, which Freddie Mercury originally performed with Montserrat Caballé.

The show takes place on Sunday, June 12 at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £19.50 and can be booked by calling the Sheffield City Hall box office on 01142 789 789 or by visiting the website at www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk
