Doncaster firefighters have been called out to extinguish a fire at a town centre pub.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at the Yorkshire Grey pub on Hallgate at approximately 8.40am.

When they arrived the room was smoke logged, and they used breathing equipment and two hose reels to extinguish the blaze.

A South Yorkshire fire and rescue spokesman said the fire is believed to have been caused by a washing machine.
