This horror show arguably resulted in Doncaster altering their defensive mindset under Darren Ferguson '“ becoming more no-nonsense.

Walsall waltzed into a 3-0 half time lead, Rovers were not at the races. Two late goals from Tommy Rowe and Niall Mason failed to save their blushes.



The Saddlers finished four places below Doncaster last season, in 19th.

But they won more points at home than Rovers, 33 compared to 30. 



Rovers have lost on their last three visits to the Bescot Stadium.
