The man, named only as Paul, proposed to his bride-to-be Wendy on their sun-filled getaway in Puerto Rico last week.

The plucky proposal took place in front of the packed Blarney Stone Irish bar. Paul took to the stage telling the crowd he was from Doncaster before bursting into song.

Wendy joined her now fiancé on stage before Paul got down on one knee and asked her hand in marriage.

Dave and Karen, who met the Donny pair in Puerto Rico, contacted the Free Press to track down the couple.

They met in the Irish bar and would like to pass on pictures they took.
