The Flybe flight from Paris was attempting to land this morning when severe storm force winds forced the pilot to abandon touchdown.
The plane, flight number BE4402 from Charles de Gaulle, was being visibly buffeted by strong gusts as it attempted to land from the north end of the runway over Blaxton.
As it made its final descent, the pilot took the decision to abort the landing and the aircraft rose back into the clouds.
The aircraft circled the airport and made a safe landing a few moments later at 10.50am - ten minutes after its scheduled landing.
Storm Doris has been causing disruption to flights in and out of the airport this morning.
A flight from Dublin was also slightly delayed by bad weather while a flight from Alicante that is due to touch down at 1.20pm is now expected to land at around 2.10pm.
Digital reporter Darren Burke filmed the flight as it made its final approach into Doncaster.
