Pupils at a Doncaster school made light of exams - by taking part in a comedy play about them.
Youngsters at Trinity Academy, Thorne, took to the stage with their production of The Exam, a comedy by Andy Hamilton, the man behind Drop the Dead Donkey.
It focused on three pupils, played by Robin Coe, Bailey Wilson and Caitlin Houlbrook, pictured, who are about to sit an exam, and their varied family backgrounds.
Mel Cutler, head of performing arts, said: “It’s a very funny play but with serious messages and is very true to life. The three main characters - from different backgrounds and with different abilities - are thrown together waiting outside the exam.”
