Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Doncaster yesterday.

Emergency services were called at around 4.30am to a property in Cross Street, Balby, where the body of a 43-year-old man was discovered.

A forensic post mortem examination carried out yesterday evening concluded that the cause of death was multiple injuries.

Formal identification has not yet taken place and the man’s family have been notified.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone that may hold information about suspicious activity in the Cross Street area over the last week.
