UPDATE: Police interview teen over shocking street attack on Doncaster girl
The incident took place in Hyde Park on the evening of June 29.
A police spokesman said: "At around 7.30pm on June 29, it is reported that a 13-year-old girl was assaulted by another teenage girl.
"She suffered bruising.

Hide Ad"A 13-year-old girl has been interviewed under caution in connection to the incident."
A 13-year-old boy was also arrested in connection with the incident on June 30.
South Yorkshire Police have now confirmed that both the 13-year-old girl and the 13-year-old boy previously questioned in connection to the alleged assault have been released while officers continue their enquiries.
They continued: "Officers are aware that a video of the incident is circulating on social media and would advise the public that legal proceedings in this case are now active, which means sharing the video could breach contempt of court guidelines. "If you hold information about the incident, please call 101 or email [email protected] quoting incident number 968 of June 29, 2016."A video of the assault taken by someone believed to be a friend of the two people responsible for the attack is currently circulating on social media, which has been shared over 600 times and had more than 24,000 views.
The sister of the victim has also shared the video with the intention of identifying the people who carried out the attack.
