UPDATE: Police confirm circumstances around death of man found on Doncaster wasteland

A police inspector has now confirmed the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found on wasteland in a Doncaster village last night.

A man's body has been found in wasteland just off Ramsden Road in Hexthorpe.

Inspector Lynne Lancaster told the Free Press: "Last night a male was found deceased on the waste ground at the rear of Ramsden Road, Hexthorpe.

"At this time it appears there are no suspicious circumstances."

Further details concerning the man's identity and age are not yet known.
