Commuters are facing delays and potential cancellation of trains on the lines between Doncaster and York.

National rail has confirmed that there are problems with the signalling system between Doncaster and York, causing disruptions to train services.

Trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or cancelled.

The issues are expected to last until at least 17:00 today (December 3).

This affects trains operated by CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Grand Central, Hull Trains, LNER and Northern.
