Try out free Nordic walking

As NORDIC Walking continues to grow in popularity in the Isle, more people are encouraged to try this refreshingly different type of exercise by attending a free taster session this weekend.

Nordic Walking uses specially adapted poles to give a full body workout and yet is fun and easy to learn.

It appeals to a wide range of people and on top of being great exercise is a very sociable activity. For more information about Nordic Walking visit the website .

Free tasters will take place at 9.30am on both Saturday and Sunday September 8 and 9 at the Belton picnic area and will last about an hour. Please contact local instructor, Stephen Williams to book your poles on 07828 738692 or contact through the website.

The Nordic Walking group meets at locations throughout the Isle at 6.30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Nordic Walking is suitable for men and women alike and is a great exercise for couples to do together.
