South Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a woman was seriously injured when her car left the road and overturned.
A silver Renault Megane was travelling from Edlington on the B6094 Carr Lane, towards Conisbrough, when the driver seems to have lost control on a slight left-hand bend, according to police.
The car crossed the carriageway went down some banking and came to rest in a field on its roof.
The 32-year-old woman driver, from Maltby, is being treated at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, for spinal injuries followign the crash on Friday, Augsut 25..
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time and can comment on the road conditions of Carr Lane near to the junction with Common Road.
