The 47-year-old woman who died in a Doncaster collision has been named by police this morning.

A woman who suffered fatal injuries after the car she was driving in Warmsworth was involved in a collision on Saturday, December 5 has been named as Moira Begbie.

At around 8am, Moira was travelling along Sheffield Road, towards Conisbrough, in a blue Ford C-Max.

At the same time, a 53-year-old man was travelling on the same road in the opposite direction, towards Doncaster, in a white Mercedes HGV.

The two vehicles were then involved in a collision and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to please come forward.

The driver of the HGV suffered minor injuries.
