Traffic at a standstill on A1M after collision

Traffic is at a standstill between two junctions on the A1M near Doncaster following a collision on the road.

Traffic has been stopped due to the incident between the A1M southbound J38 (Redhouse, Doncaster) and J37 (Marr, Doncaster).

Yorkshire Ambulance and South Yorkshire Police are at the scene.

The delays are expected to last aroun 45 minutes, with normal traffic conditions are expected between 22:15 and 22:30.

The AA also reports delays on the northbound side with traffic moving at 10mph.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
