Fordstead Lane, at Almholme, near Barnby Dun, was among routes closed due to flooding on February 16. But Doncaster Council has now confirmed it has been able to re-open the route.

It has stated: “Water levels have dropped enough to allow us to reopen Fordstead Lane at Almholme.”

Fordstead Lane was the last route to remain closed after storms swelled the water levels in the River Don.
