Major road into Doncaster closed due to 'police incident'

A police incident has closed the road between Tickhill and Olcotes this afternoon, bus operators have revealed.

Stangecoach East Midlands revealed the road was shut this afternoon.

They stated on social media: “Due to a police road closure on the A60 between Oldcotes and Tickhill. Service 22 will be diverting via Harworth Crossroads and Styrup in both directions. Stops at Tickhill Buttercross will not be served

They previous stated: “Service 22's currently experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes due to the ongoing police incident at Oldcotes Crossroads.”
