Major delays on M18 in Doncaster after car blaze breaks out

Fire crews were called out just before 1.45pm after a car was reported ablaze on the south bound carriageway, between junction four and junction three.

Two fire engines were sent, from Edlington and Thorne fire stations, and were on the scene for over half an hour. No injuries are reported.

Highways bosses are reporting major tailbacks.

Highways England say there are tailback between junctions four and five, southbound, with delays of around 20 minutes.
