Broken rail causes travel disruption for Doncaster rail passengers
A broken rail is causing rail disruption for passengers in Doncaster this morning, with delays set to continue into the afternoon.
Disruption between York and Doncaster is expected until 1pm while repairs are carried out on a broken rail.
It means trains have to run at a reduced speed on the southbound East Coast Main Line towards Doncaster.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 40 minutes.
Passengers are being advised to check on services before travelling and are reminded that face coverings are compulsory on all public transport.
