TRAFFIC: Police dealing with crash on Doncaster road

South Yorkshire Police attended to the incident on Balby Road with reports that two cars were involved in a crash around 8.40am this morning.

First Bus have said that the Alexandra Road services have been affected with the number 15, 16 and 55 routes experiencing delays of around 25 minutes.

South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to reports of a collision in Balby Road, Doncaster at about 8.40am.

“It is believed that two cars were involved in the incident, which occurred at the junction of Sandford Road.

“The extent of injuries is not yet fully known although they are not believed to be serious.
