Pedestrian spotted on South Yorkshire motorway

The man was seen in the last hour on the southbound M18 near junction 5.

The incident was reported to police by a member of the public who was concerned for the man’s safety.

Officers said they spoke to the man, gave him safety advice and said he was now off the motorway.
