Major Doncaster road closed after 'serious collision'

Bawtry Road is closed out of town between The Dome and Cantley Lane.

South Yorkshire Police said shortly after 8pm this evening, Thursday, January 30, that the closure was in place ‘while officers are dealing with a serious collision’.

There are reports of lengthy tailbacks in both directions.

Police said a male pedestrian involved in a collision with a car at around 7pm had sustained serious leg injuries.
