As Doncaster strives to improve its education performance, Doncaster North MP Ed Miliband will join the Head of Hungerhill School and Doncaster Council’s Director of Learning Opportunities and Skills for a conversation on skills and aspirations for the town.

Dan Fell, Chief Executive Officer for Doncaster Chamber, said: “The conference is a major opportunity for people from the public and private sectors to hear from company bosses, politicians, and educationists discussing some of the key topics affecting the business economy and the town’s growth now and in the future.

“This is a year of big decisions and projects for Doncaster, with the devolution deal, new academic institutions including the HS2, New College and proposed University Technical College, and more regional and international opportunities on the horizon with the opening of the Great Yorkshire Way and new business flights from the Robin Hood Airport - all in a time when everything is going online and global.”

The event will also include networking opportunities. The conference will take place at The Legacy Centre, Shaw Lane, Doncaster from 8am to 1pm. To book a place, or for more information, visit
