Three arrests after Doncaster car chase drama involving collision

The incident happened in Stainforth and was the second pursuit in the village in two days.

A police spokesman man revealed both incidents had happened in Stainforth in the last two days Stainforth. They said on Friday, officers had a chase with a Toyota Corolla and only managed to recover the car.

They added that yesterday (Saturday) they had had another pursuit with a Volkswagen Golf, which collided with an innocent member of the public.

He added: “All three occupants were detained after foot chases on this second occasion.”

One resident who saw the car that was chased on Friday said: “It zoomed out of Jubilee Park in front of me then sped past park cars, school bus and lots of children coming out of school down Cuckoo Lane. I'm surprised nobody was hurt then.

"We definately need more police in this area.”
