MEDIA students from Thorne are hoping to pick up some magical career inspiration with a trip to Disneyland Paris.
It won’t just be Mickey and friends that 32 students from Trinity Academy plan to network with during this week’s four-day study trip.
They will be attending a five-hour conference by world-leading media figures and will also be judged in a national competition which they have been challenged to design an advertisement based around a cosmetic product.
At the event last year, one student was offered a job with an independent director at the annual Media Live event.
Academy head of media Catt Derry, said: “It is important to offer students access to industry experts and last year proved what can be achieved by asking a simple question – like can I have a job please?
“This is why I look for something every year at which they can mix with and learn from professionals in the industry.”
