Thorne Sea Cadets on parade for special guest

Members of Thorne Sea Cadets invited along the district officer Lieutenant (Scc) Tammy Roberts RNR for an evening meeting.

Tammy was herself an ex-sea cadet from the age of 12 so was interested to see how the youth group had changed over the years.

A spokesman said: “There was a special inspection parade when she (Tammy) was piped in by one of the sea cadets before a short service by the sea cadet chaplain, Robert Newton.

“Also present were members of the HMS Gambia Association.”
