The House of Commons Library recently published data revealing the median (middle) house price for each area of the town to provide an indicator of affordability.
The information shows a wide fluctuation in prices, starting from £82,500 for Central Doncaster and Hyde Park to £220,000 for Bessacarr Grange and Lakeside.
