SCOTS pop rockers Texas are the latest big name band to announce a date at Doncaster Racecourse.
Sharleen Spiteri and co will come to Town Moor on June 25 - becoming the third chart band to reveal an outdoor show at the course this summer.
Boy bands The Wanted and McFly will be rocking the racecourse on May 14 and August 13 respectively, making it a hat-trick of multi-million selling bands hitting Doncaster in 2011.
Texas first made their breakthrough on the UK scene in 1989 when their debut album Southside hit number three in the charts and spawned the likes of smash hit singles including I Don’t Want A Lover.
But the group’s biggest success came in the late 90s when songs such as Black Eyed Boy, Summer Son, Say What You Want and Summer Smile.
The concert will start after racing at approximately 9pm on June 25.
