Emma Pilling Dance Academy (EPDA) has joined forces with Bradford Theatre Arts to be part of the pre-match entertainment when Saracens take on Harlequins in the rugby union derby championship.

The game will see the dancers, aged 9 to 15, take to the stage alongside pop star FOXES in front of an expected 85,000 crowd. English singer songwriter Louisa Rose Allen – better known by her stage name FOXES – won the Best Dance Recording Grammy for her song Clarity.

The event is organised by Pro-Excel and it’s one of the biggest mass movement shows in British sporting history. EPDA will strut their stuff with 17 other dance schools from across the UK to form an 1,100 strong mass dance show at the most famous stadium on earth – Wembley.

The dance school, which is run by principal Emma Ellam, opened in 2008 has since gone from strength to strength with the opening of a second dance studio in 2015.

“Our talented dancers, some of which have already performed in prestigious locations such as Disneyland Paris and Her Majesty’s Theatre London, are very excited to be part of this fantastic opportunity,” she said.

The dancers have been putting in hard work to perfect the routine by rehearsing over 4 gruelling days. “I couldn’t be more proud of their dedication and commitment. This is a once in a lifetime experience and one that the dancers will remember forever,” Emma said.
