Stylish students from North Lindsey College get class in styling from cutting edge experts
The college welcomed McDonald Waterfall hair stylist to deliver a cutting, conditioning and colouring masterclass with hairdressing apprentices.
The workshop took place in the College’s very own hair and beauty salon, ORA Hair and Beauty. McDonald and Waterfall were joined by international hair colour, care and styling company, Schwarzkopf UK. Both McDonald Waterfall and Schwarzkopf UK wowed apprentices with their expertise and practical knowledge.

Hide AdMcDonald Waterfall have over 35 years’ experience in the industry and work within the education industry to raise the standards of hairdressing. Both their creative directors, Stuart McDonald and Darren Waterfall, started their careers at Vidal Sassoon London before progressing on to set up their own company.
Creative director, Darren Waterfall, said, “We have worked with larger companies in the industry who invest a lot of money in new skills. We wanted to share that knowledge and grow the apprentices’ techniques to make them more employable in the future,” with student Hannah Wilson, adding: “I work in a salon but it’s good to learn new skills from other people in industry. I’ve learned how to cut longer layers and do a complete restyle. The session has helped me to grow my skills in the salon.”
