Drivers have been warned to drive carefully on Snake Pass and the Woodhead Pass. Both roads are currently open.
A period of heavy, persistent rain is expected to move northeastwards Sunday night and Monday morning, bringing a risk of surface water flooding.
The rain is expected to clear northeastwards from southwest England by early Monday, from much of the Midlands around mid-morning, then finally clear from eastern England around Monday lunchtime.
