To celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, Effingham Street plays host to a street party, so why not bring along your own picnic, take a seat at one of the many tables and enjoy the sights and sounds on offer.

There will be a very special guest at the Hop, who will be turning 90 in 2016 just like the Queen. Winner of Rotherham Council’s competition, the special guest will be chauffeured on the day in a classic Rolls Royce and treated to afternoon tea, kindly supplied by Scarlett’s Coffee Bar and Deli.

A vintage market will also be located on Effingham Street and Howard Street offering a quirky and eclectic mix of wares from household goods and jewellery to vintage clothing and bespoke hats.

Over 40 vintage vehicles will we positioned on Church Street and surrounding areas, a really popular part of the Vintage Hop, with a wide range of cars, bikes and vans for young and old alike to admire.
