Pete Spencer chalked up the biggest frame score of the season as league leaders Askern Sports eased to a 4-1 win over HP Warriors in the Doncaster & District Over 55s Snooker League.

Spencer thrashed Bill Savage 110-5 to level the match after Phil Spencer had surprisingly lost 55-46 to Andy Robertson.

Tommy Collins, Laurance Torn and Henry Morris then won their frames to earn Askern four points for the win.

Second-placed Trades Club closed the gap on the leaders to two points with a 5-0 win at Intake Social.
