Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp postpones Doncaster 80s show until next year

Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp has postponed a huge 80s party night in Doncaster until next year because of the coronavirus crisis.

The music and TV favourite was due to bring his Back To The 80s Party to The Dome on May 1.

But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 80s icon has been forced to reschedule the show until 2021.

A spokesman for promoters Solid Entertainments said: “In the interest of customer health and safety and in view of the latest government directive on the coronavirus crisis, we have postponed Martin Kemp’s Back to The 80s show until March 26, 2021.

“All tickets will be valid for the new date.

“Martin looks forward to seeing everyone next year on the new date.”

The Dome has cancelled all of its shows and concerts until at least June.

The venue is currently being used as an emergency coronavirus support hub.
