Rosie Muxlow, 16, of Doncaster, passed theory and practical exams that are taken by engineers seeking to install, repair or service refrigeration or air conditioning systems. She achieved an unlikely 100 per cent, showing she absorbed all the training she watched her father, Tony Muxlow, deliver, as a City and Guilds instructor. Hill House School pupil Rosie is a top ranking javelin athlete. She plans to do A-levels before joining the family business. Mr Muxlow said: “The refrigeration qualification is very difficult to pass.”
