Dronfield pianist Robert Wolstenholme raised more than £700 for the National Autistic Society with his most recent live performance at Crystal Peaks shopping centre.

Robert, who is himself autistic, is a regular guest at the award winning Sheffield shopping mall, where his full day piano recitals are a popular attraction.

His most recent appearance raised a final total of £702 for NAS as he played more than 60 pieces of music in a session that ran over five hours and sold copies of his new CD, Emotions.

This takes Robert’s fundraising totally for NAS to more than £7,500 in less than two years.

“Once again, I would like to thank Crystal Peaks staff for the help and support they have given by allowing Robert to raise funds and awareness of autism in this way,” said Robert’s dad Gary.

“I would also like to thank Crystal Peaks customers for their kind generosity and support for the charity.”

Robert’s next Crystal Peaks date will be on Sunday, September 18, when he aims to take his fundraising total close to his £10,000 target.
