Budding film makers of the future are appealing for help in finishing their group project.

Sandhill Primary Academy pupils Ayathola Sibanda, Lily Smith and Sophie Fisher were supported by senior community organiser Sithule Moyo in forming a drama group, then they won some funding for eight sessions of tutoring.

They have formed a script and held some rehearsals, said Mr Moya, but need further help in continuing their work. They were inspired to finish their project during a trip to the Media Museum at Bradford.

Mr Moya added: “I want them to feel proud of their achievement so that they can go for more good things in their lives and become the best citizens of tomorrow.”

Anyone willing to help the group should call 01709 252300.
