South Yorkshire League: Tickhill go fourth in Championship
Paceman James Stuart once again proved to be a key man for the Alderson Drive club, claiming superb figures of 6-35.
But Tickhill were also endebted to valuable contributions with the bat from Nicky Page and wicketkeeper Jordan Lowe as they recorded a fourth league win in five weeks.

Hide AdConisbrough batted first and their innings meandered to 33-4 before skipper Nathan Smith scored 26 and Sri Lankan Arosh Janoda contributed an excellent 45.
The visitors, minus run machine Gary Strephan, were all out off the penultimate ball for 152.
The excellent Stuart again starred with the ball for the hosts, while the busy Lowe took one catch and two stumpings.
Tickhill’s reply got off to a disastrous start when Matthew Kilvington and Ashley Fiddler both departed without scoring.

Hide AdStuart made 21 before a fourth wicket stand of 93 between opener Page (60) and Lowe (47) took them to 147.
At this point Tickhill lost four wickets for just one run before they achieved their winning score with three wickets to spare. Janoda took 4-26.
Sixth-placed Wath went down by six wickets at Championship leaders Hallam.
Jonathan Allan (47), William Cooper (38) and South African Shaun Dyson (42no) saw the visitors post a competitive 166-6.

Hide AdWill Hale (64), Alex Hughes (48) and Nick Dymock (37) were the mainstays as Hallam achieved their winning score for the loss of four wickets with four overs to spare.
Sprotbrough moved into a promotion position in Division One following a 122-run win at home to Whitley Hall B.
Skipper Ashley Ward and overseas star Jake Wigney compiled an excellent 126 runs for the third wicket to lay the foundations for the home side’s total of 212.
Wigney made 70 in 50 balls, while Ward contributed 69. Bishwick Kapala took 4-40 for the visitors.
In reply Whitley Hall could only muster 90 all out.

Hide AdWigner was at the forefront again as he claimed 4-33 and Michael Threapleton took 4-53.
Only two matches were possible in Division Two, with one of them at Moor Road seeing Wath B run out two wicket winners against Worsbrough Bridge.
Ankur Sondhi hit 50 in Bridge’s total of 135, while Jordan Shutt took 4-38 and Shawn Hopkins claimed 4-29.
Wath did not have it all their own way in reply but skipper Hopkins (39no) guided his team to a narrow win.
