South Yorkshire care home closed '˜to keep people safe'
A care home near Doncaster has been closed by the Care Quality Commission - to 'keep people safe'
The commission, which is responsible for monitoring standards in health services, has taken the action at Wathwood Lodge, Swinton.
A spokesman for the commission said: “Following an inspection in February 2016, we rated Wathwood Lodge ‘Inadequate’ after finding eight breaches of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.”
